Jake Paul Undercuts 317, Offers Cheaper PPV Price

Jake Paul is running head-to-head with UFC.

“El Gallo” is boxing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 28 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., the same night Dana White and Co. will fire off UFC 317 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, topped by the Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira vacant lightweight title fight.

Not surprisingly, Paul will be the cheaper of the two pay-per-view (PPV) events, clocking in at $59.99 — plus a subscription to DAZN — against $79.99 for UFC 317, which also requires a subscription to the ESPN+ digital network.

It’s expensive to be a fight fan these days.

Paul and Chavez Jr. are expected to make their ring walks at approximately 11 p.m. ET, putting them smack dab in the middle of the “Topuria vs. Oliveira” main card (see it here). UFC 317 is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. ET and will close out this annual event in “Sin City.”

“This is a former world champion, he has an amazing resume,” Paul said during the kickoff press conference. “He’s following in his dad’s footsteps — coming up short, of course. I want to test myself against the best. I’m going to shock the world once again. This is his toughest fight to date. I’m going to embarrass him and make him quit like he always does.”

Maybe he should book an actual competitive fight and he wouldn’t have to resort to trolling.

It will sell much more than the UFC card the same night will.

They’re both a rip off.

This fight sucks, Tommy Fury again would be better, maybe Ryan Garcia would take the fight, Vitor Belfort?

PPVs are that much these days? $60 is undercutting? $80 for a UFC PPV?

You learn something new every day.

Wouldn’t be suprised if he beat out the ufc, that card looks pretty lame.

Cesar Chavez is ass cheeks and I wouldn’t watch this for free.

Dude recently got his ass kicked by Anderson Silva in boxing.

He wasn’t in shape for that.. remember Chavez beat Andy Lee.. Lee was a legit world champion .. he had a great amateur career and was a Olympian..
