Phil Baroni is an American mixed martial artist, professional wrestler and former kickboxer. A professional MMA competitor since 2000, Baroni has competed for the UFC, PRIDE, Strikeforce, Cage Rage, DREAM, EliteXC, Bellator MMA, and ONE FC.
I fell kind of bad for him, Baroni’s schtick when he first came on the MMA scene and posting on the UG was totally cringe worthy

Sad where this dude ended up. I keep hoping there’s some chance it will come out that he was framed by the cartels and he gets released somehow.
His boy, The King of Connecticut Matthew Granahan, passed away last year as well. Supposedly from a gunshot wound that may or may not have been self-inflicted.
They were both involved with some shady underworld characters.
Fuck that guy. I have 0 sympathy for Baroni.
He beat his girlfriend to death.

I never heard of any DV incidents with Phil.
Not crazy in hindsight he was super close with Bonnar though. Both fucked up guys.
