Egg is all about the money and I really do believe he’s terrified of Jon fucking up this card based on his past behavior. A lowball offer might have been risk mitigation on his part. Or he was just trying to see how badly Jon wanted to fight on the card. If it was a regular UFC Dana probably wouldn’t have been as paranoid about it and worked to make it happen.
