It’s ultra cringe dad joke humor. Weird angle, but whatever. He should’ve doubled down and insisted on the mic that he was killing instead of bombing though. That would’ve at least been a little more humorous and fit the character better. Either way, I hope he keeps winning. Entertaining fighter.
