I have only been to Essex once and it was an eye opener! Friend took me up there and we were visiting some Spearmint Rhino they had. We had to get fuel just prior and there was a gang of coked up local lads causing mayhem there!

My favorite fighters to watch are pretty much all retired.
You could get VHS highlight tapes, it was just a niche thing. For example I remember Chuck Norris had a VHS highlighting some of his favorite kickboxers, guys like Troy Dorsey and Dennis Alexio. There were boxing highlight tapes too.
NHB/MMA had some too, but IIRC more common on DVD.
I was late to the Internet party. I didn’t even have a home PC until the late 2000’s. I set up my original UG/OG account at a friend’s house, then would have to go to the public library to log in, usually before and after a Pride or UFC event to talk about the fights.
Shogun with no knee issues is as good as you can get at 205, especially under Pride rules with soccer kicks being legal
