Topuria is better than Justin basically everywhere and in his prime. Yes even his kicks because of his timing and how well rounded he is. Justin is bigger and maybe can take more punishment but he won’t be able to eat the shots Topuria will be landing.
I will bet the farm on Illia 95/100. Fight is going to be extremely one sided.

Didn’t seem like it. He had Gajthe completely rocked and controlled him on the ground. What he didn’t account for was Gajthe ain’t going anywhere unless you get that neck and squeeze or you hit him 192 times

You’re kind of just agreeing with me, no one at 145 is eating those shots and keeps fighting. He’s handicapping himself with some big size disadvantages and he belongs at 145, shit he probably would’ve stayed undefeated at 145.
One loss and Ilia should move back to 145? Ha ha. Besides the crazy facial damage, it was a fairly event fight. Ilia almost finished Justin with strikes and grappling at one point. Almost doesn’t cut it but let’s not act like it was one sided here.
EGO got the best of Topuria. Let’s face it: Justin hits like a truck but his grappling is suspect. If Ilia had a reputation like the Dagestani, he would have used a grappling heavy strategy. He wanted to “KO another legend” too much for that. Hey, I getit, he wanted the KO.
But after round 1, he should have switched his approach. He only did when tagged and almost got subs twice. First time his fight IQ failed him IMO - and he almost won. He’s not done after one loss!

At 155 he’s too small. Hes won several but still too small and bound to run into someone too big and too durable to defeat again at that weight.
