Khamzat Chimaev wants to rematch Sean Strickland after losing his middleweight title to “Tarzan” at UFC 328 earlier this month in Newark. In fact, “Borz” is willing to fight to the death in their five-round do-over, because leaving a decision in the hands of American judges will result in a second straight loss.
“I’m waiting, tell me when you’re ready Sean Strickland,” Chimaev wrote on X. “Next time somebody has to be dead.”
Not surprisingly, Chimaev is getting crushed in the replies.
“You’re fighting Brendan Allen in the APEX pal,” one fan answered.
We’ve been hearing this crap for more than a decade … nobody is fighting to the death.
Ranked middleweight contender Nassourdine Imavov also chimed in on X and promised “death is coming” despite losing to Strickland by decision at UFC Vegas 67 back in early 2023. It helps that “Tarzan” favors another bout with “The Sniper” over an immediate rematch against Chimaev.
Too bad they can’t do no time limit matches.
