ROTHWELL ON CARD
finally, a bkfc card that my subscription gives me access to! looking forward to it.
Damn. All lil heathen needs is 1 good 1… He beat up a training partner pretty good back when…
“To his face I didn’t say anything but facts,” Stephens told MMA Junkie. “He got his face caved in. Not lying about that. You look like you haven’t really been training at all. Even if you are, like that day I could’ve beat his ass. Right now he could walk into my back yard and I would fck you up. I know I’m going to win.*
“I hit hard. I hit often. My hands are better than Mike Perry’s. Believe me. I have a lot of ferocious skill and intent. I may not hit as hard or have that weight behind it, but I hit hard. I hit often. I hit very sharply. I’m very psychotically skilled to set that up.”
“Big” Ben Rothwell is ready to make history.
The undefeated Kenosha, WI product is preparing to dethrone Mick Terrill and become just the sixth World Heavyweight Champion in BKFC history. They lock horns in the Co-Main Event of KnuckleMania V on Jan. 25 under the bright lights at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.
The star-studded KnuckleMania V will be the biggest event in bare knuckle fighting history as the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion debuts in its beloved hometown of Philadelphia.
A UFC Championship eluded Rothwell during his 17-bout tenure with the organization, but the battle-tested big man is ready to rise to the occasion at this historic combat sports event.
“This is going to be the last 25 years of my career and life coming to fruition,” Rothwell says. “This is a massive opportunity for me. It’s something that I’ve been thinking about and preparing for for a very long time.”
Rothwell hopes a big win in Philadelphia will help pave the way for BKFC’s Wisconsin debut in 2025.
“What a way to bring BKFC here — with me defending my title for the first time in the Main Event,” he says.
In the meantime, Rothwell has a simple prediction for his showdown with Terrill in Philadelphia.
“A vicious KO,” he says matter of factly.
“I’m going to show my hand speed, I’m going to show my power, and I’m going to show that I’m truly one of the best fighters in the sport, and the best fighter in the BKFC heavyweight division.”
For a second I confused little Heathen with Jens Pulver and was like WTF??
Thats Evil
I want both to win sooo badly…
But…
Lets go Jeremy!
Conor McGregor Claims BKFC KnuckleMania Set To Break UFC’s 14-Year Wells Fargo Center Gate Record
BKFC could be in for a history night later this month.
January 7, 2025
The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), part-owned by Conor McGregor, looks set to host its biggest event to date in a few weeks’ time, and perhaps the biggest to grace Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center.
Bare-knuckle fighting continues to gain further prominence, largely down to the growth of the BKFC. The organization hosts KnuckleMania as its flagship event each year, with the fifth edition set to go down from “The City of Brotherly Love” on Jan. 25.
In the main event, former UFC fighters Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens will do battle. There will also be championship gold on the line beforehand, with veteran MMA heavyweight Ben Rothwell throwing down with Mick Terrill.
Keeping a close eye on proceedings will be McGregor, a former two-division UFC champion whose part-ownership of BKFC was announced by president David Feldman at KnuckleMania 4 last year.
“The Notorious” has been doing plenty of promotional work for the organization since, and the latest saw him react on social media to the release of additional tickets for this month’s major card.
And during it, the Irishman made a strong claim about ticket sales for KnuckleMania 5, hinting that BKFC is in line to break the Wells Fargo Center arena record, which the UFC has held since 2011.
