I dont think he needs any protection lol Ankalaev is apparently the best grappler in the division and i also don’t see this fight going to the ground.
If you look at most of his fights hes not as elite at grappling as ppl seem to believe.

I’ve watched a lot of Pereira’s training videos and he’s improved a lot on the ground. I’m guessing Ankalaev won’t even go for a takedown and if he does he won’t be able to hold Pereira down. Pereira by KO.
