Marco Ruas is a true warrior and Master of Martial Arts, as in addition to being honorable and fearless, he didn’t have a big name and no morning glory (or little duck).
Pinduka (who I met at another time, already older and more mature) was thick-skinned and also a warrior, but he had that “toughness” of the JJ guys and the unrestricted support of the Gracie, who were behind the rules and the referees in almost all the free-for-alls that happened.
Merits? For both, as they fought without fear, however, Marco Ruas faced not just Pinduka, but hundreds of fanatics and an entire organization clearly in favor of his fighter. For me, he emerged victorious. What an incredible face…
