BKFC fight falls through, Kazakh athlete is left without money.
In July, Mariya Agapova lost to Luana Santos and was released from the UFC on a losing streak of three defeats in a row. After that, Mariya signed a contract with BKFC and agreed to fight in December. But the fight, which was supposed to take place this weekend, was canceled, and Agapova, in her own words, is forced to live on the street:
“Today I am left on the street. If anyone can help me, let me know,” Mariya writes on social networks.
“A lot of people ask me what happened. I fought for money all year, but it didn’t work. I got little money for my last fight, and my debut in BKFC was canceled. So I ended up on the street and without money. I have been living in poverty for the past few years. Out of desperation, I signed up for fist fights.”
Perhaps Maria’s bad character is preventing her from getting fights or simply waiting out a bad year on her friends’ couch - she was previously thrown out of the ATT gym for alleged drug use and threats to stab a pregnant woman.
It also seems that an option would be to return, if not to Kazakhstan, then at least to Russia, where she could technically be quickly signed for a fist fight or at any MMA vegetable warehouse. However, it seems that Maria is ready to live on the street, just not to leave the United States.
Recently, Agapova wrote that they tried to drag her into the porn industry, but she flatly refused to shoot adult content and open a page on OnlyFans.
