Weed should be legal but the masses don’t have to be consuming mind altering drugs on a regular basis. Its not the miracle drug everyone claims and for every rare case of it curing or alleviating a disease there are 1000s of Passive Jays churned out.

I think with drugs you either go medieval and chop peoples heads off for using or you make it legal and poor a ton of money into mandatory treatment and have strong anti vagrancy laws.
Problem is west never really did either. They either want to make illegal with weak enforcement or they want to make it fully legal without any consideration for the social problems. Both are self destructive.

Hmm. Well not really. Alcohol and other mind altering substances are a net negative for society. But in the interest of freedom and societal harm, it should be legal. I do believe on the whole it’s substantially less harmful than alcohol as an example.

Its legal in Portugal, too much work for the cops to deal with it, now they can focus on the real crimes.
Its fine if its legal if you dont let them harass people on the streets and camp in public and openly use drugs.
