Thanks for this interview with Perretti guys! I’ve enjoyed all of his appearances on the show and look forward to hopefully more to come. I know it may go off topic, but I would love to hear you guys do an interview with him on his life/career post MMA. Like from when he was working on the film Gangs of New York and his plans to purchase the UFC fell through up to now. Not sure if your platform would be right for that as you guys are focused on detailing each guests influence and involvement in the sport, but I think with the friendship and rapport you have built with John the past few years that you could do an awesome show with him just discussing his life and the interesting things he has done since leaving MMA. If you guys and John would be down for it that is. I’d even be down for a Mike Davis/John Perretti conspiracy show 
It was a bummer hearing Mike talk about Maurice Smith’s response to doing an interview. I’m surprised to hear that is how he feels about it. That is nonsense if he thinks Mike is not qualified to conduct an interview with him. He needs to go into the library and listen to how respectful and detailed Mike was with some of Maurice’s friends interviews like Frank Shamrock & Bas Rutten. Mike is the only person who could properly and accurately conduct an interview with someone like Maurice Smith. Like Mike has always said, this show is about preserving history. This is Maurice’s chance to come on and set the record straight from his perspective. Whether it’s about his fight record or whatever. Hopefully he will come on someday.
