Featherweights will collide in April.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight and Sean O’Malley’s protege, Tommy McMillen, will be making his UFC debut against Manolo Zecchini at UFC Vegas 115 on April 4, 2025 inside the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McMillen (9-0) earned his UFC contract on Season 8 of Dana White’s Contender Series, where he defeated David Mgoyan via majority decision in a gritty, back-and-forth fight. The bout took a heavy toll on McMillen, who was transported to the hospital immediately afterward — a rare occurrence for a fighter who had previously steamrolled opponents with ruthless efficiency.
Prior to his Contender Series appearance, the 28-year-old carried a perfect finish rate, stopping all eight of his previous opponents — all in the first round. He’s spent several years training alongside former UFC Bantamweight champion O’Malley, developing under one of the division’s most dynamic strikers.
Standing across from him will be Zecchini (11-4), who returns to action following a nearly three-year layoff. The Italian striker made his UFC debut at UFC Paris, where he suffered a first-round loss to Morgan Charriere after absorbing a brutal body kick — a defeat that snapped his two-fight winning streak
Edmen Shahbazyan looks to make it four straight victories in the octagon, and will do so close to his home gym.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that the UFC is close to finalizing a middleweight matchup between Shahbazyan and Jun Yong Park for UFC Vegas 114. The event takes place April 4 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
Rest of Card is 90% Dogshit
I gotta go with Duncan
Pretty excited for this one, Duncan is an animal.
Is this the weakest main event of all time?
Duncan is probably gonna win. Moicano is number 10 and Duncan is unranked. It’s a shitty main event in terms of divisional significance, but a good main event in terms of entertainment value.
