“I know that (the UFC) wanted the Conor fight right now… and I’m like, I’m not trying to be a comeback story for Conor. I want Conor back, and then I want him to be fucking showing people he’s whipping ass. Then that’s the guy I want. I don’t wanna be fighting a guy that they don’t know about, because I know he’s gonna come back and do good. I don’t need him to do it on me,” Diaz said to Ariel Helwani.
Diaz not wanting the McGregor fight, as the Irishman’s comeback is interesting, but it does not make sense. If McGregor does return and looks impressive, the trilogy with Diaz still is a big fight. And, Diaz knows there fight sells no matter what, and don’t need McGregor’s comeback to sell it.
lol wtf
lol
@around 46 mins Adam goes on about the pussification of boys, wrestling analogy, saying that “ back in the day” most of the boys were in the middle.
He meant, boys being boys. Sure you had the odd “tough guys” and nerds on the outside extremes, but most of us were in the middle.
Randy takes that to mean that we’re really not that different and that if we could just sit down and talk about our feelings…
Lol
WAR Perry. Actually really excited for this card. Hopefully it does well and they continue putting on good quality cards.
UFC has turned into the boxing model due to how many events they put on. All the numbered events seem to be 1-2 title fights and then just fill the card out with whatever you can find. Most of the big contender fights are on Fight Nights.
I watched and enjoyed this.
