The Oct. 3 visit marks the UFC’s first card in Utah since Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree Jr. headlined UFC 307 at Delta Center in October 2024 with Pereira’s light heavyweight title on the line. Pereira scored a dramatic fourth-round knockout of a battered and bloodied Rountree to record his third straight successful title defense.
The co-main event saw Julianna Peña become a two-time bantamweight champion by earning a narrow split decision win over Raquel Pennington.
Overall, this marks the UFC’s fifth visit to Salt Lake City.
