Dont worry guys im gonna try a thicker flathead in an impact driver as well as a little heat monday when i get home from work. Its all gonna be ok. Just need to be patient. Thanks for all the help.

No on an impact drive it will either strip the screw head or snap it all together.

Or break the housing. Thin aluminum breaks way too easy to be hammering on.

I’m just not the sentimental type about things loved one’s owned. They’re just things.
My grandfather gave me this beautiful Vacheron watch that he was gifted by my Dad and uncle. He was all teary eyed about it and saying I should pass it to my son. I sold it about a week after he passed and partied through Europe all summer.

Yeah. No impact. No power tools.
Get a fat flathead screwdriver, push into the screw while turning to loosen it. This is to help prevent stripping it.
