Nemkov previously reigned as Bellator’s light heavyweight champion, successfully defending that belt four consecutive times before moving up to the heavyweight division in the midst of Bellator being acquired by PFL. He is 3-0 at heavyweight and captured a vacant title by defeating Renan Ferreira via first-round submission this past December.
Since 2016, Nemkov is undefeated with 14 wins and one no-contest. He is currently the No. 11 heavyweight in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings.
