What an asshole. We were having such a good match, back-n-forth interaction, both whittling each other down, but once I played my win-con (because he fucked up by not re-playing Squee, Dubious Monarch, which had haste and would produce goblin tokens with haste), he decided to let all the timers run out as he grabbed his toys and went home. Fucking little bitch. That’s why I love the Oko Salt emoji… LOL

Games like this always make me chuckle. This dude had a similar deck that, I would imagine works well most of the time.

This one was for the Midweek Magic event. Not a deck I would ever make, and mostly cards I wouldn’t use. I did however have a few synergies I knew would be fun. This was one of them but he made it so much more satisfying. He nerfed all my beefy creatures, making them 1/1. Then he had the brilliant idea to make me sac a creature. I sac’d my 2/2 Primal Hunger, only for it to return a 14/14 Flying Trample Elder Dinosaur Angel. lol. He must have been so pissed.

This asshole was playing a commander (Danitha) that allows you to keep replaying enchantments from your graveyard, so he kept using a “pacify” card on my commander. Fortunately, that doesn’t prevent my combo from popping off!

Elementals vs Mutate. He had me down to 1, but I had a full board, but I played the “Finality” side of Find // Finality and board-wiped him. Naturally he conceded.

I played “Finality” side of Find // Finality again, he buffed his Gala Greeters so they didn’t die, blocked my Lord of Extinction, and stretched the game out for a quite a few more turns, but I inevitably pulled off the win.

This guy kept hanging around because of that Legendary land he kept tapping to untap my Commander and remove him from combat, but once I got the boots into play, he conceded…

So, the new set just dropped on Arena. While there are a couple of card that are intriguing, once again I find myself not being inspired or compelled to experiment with a new deck design… I just see a couple of cards that could potentially upgrade my current decks…
