Everyone even entertaining nicks idea has no business around him
Let the warrior war
Nick was never a power guy. Even if he’s 99% of what he was in his prime, he’s going to be a snooze fest in MMA. Mean mugging opponents doesn’t win fights.
He’d be better off fighting celebrity cans in boxing or being one himself.
Aint about that no more sir
Live and die by the sword my man. If he wants to ride off into the mma sunlight, I’m down to watch as heads off.
I’ve always been entertained by his fights and personality and so I’ll keep watching if he does come back
He looked bad in his last fight against Robbie, nearly five years ago. And that was before his drug abuse and rehab stay. Almost zero interest in a Nick Diaz fight in 2026. I’ll watch but it’s sad that he needs the money this badly this late into his career.
I’m fine with him fighting but it should be to someone competitive to him at this point in his career. Another old guy who hasn’t been training.
should fight conor @ 185 on the whitehouse show
Hopefully he doesn’t try to fight someone in their prime but he is crazy enough to do it.
He already tried to come back years ago and got his ass beat by someone who is retired because they’re old. Is this a joke? He was 7-7 in the UFC during his prime.
This is like talking about Gary Goodridge making a UFC comeback.
He washed washed years ago.
I get that he needs the payday and the discipline of training camp is probably the best way to keep him sober right now, but maybe a few exhibitions in BJJ against another guy his age. Not MMA where he will get further CTE if he fights anyone other than a complete and total can.
Dana used to be serious about not letting fighters keep going if they’re past their prime and shouldn’t take more damage. Maybe force Nick to have his cognitive abilities tested. He’ll probably get angry and fight for someone else. Who’ll give him the big payday, though?
Concerning or not, why would I watch a mediocre fighter in his prime fight when he’s way beyond his prime?
You wouldn’t but I would. I don’t agree about him being mediocre and do you mind who and what you compare him to?
Is he still under contract with any promotions?
Not that I know of.
He looked so good last time out that I think he’s got another 10-15 fights left in him. Probably gets the belt after 3-4 wins. Can’t wait to see him dominate these losers at MW!
This thread is full of scared homies
I’m sure a smaller organization will offer him an easy tune-up fight if he really wants it…or is he lookin’ to collect a payday and retire?
