Wow!!! I’ve been a Knicks fan for 30 fkn years, it’s been miserable for the most part lol. They’ve got a ridiculous starting five now, not happy about giving up Divincenzo but Julius wasn’t gonna be a good fit with all the new pieces imo. Big trade.

KAT is just too soft. I like this trade for the Wolves. For the Knicks, I hate sending a draft pick alongside a star and solid role player. I think that we’ll look back on this trade as an A for the Wolves and a C- for the Knickerbockers.

The draft pick is heavily protected, Minnesota probably won’t get anything out of it. They’re also already shopping trades for Randle.
They basically traded KAT for Divenchenzo (spelling?) and to free up contract space. Terrible trade for Minnesota, imo. But I’m a KAT fan.

I suppose that if they don’t re-sign Randle or trade him for less value, then it’s not so good for Minnesota.
I just think that KAT lacks the toughness at Center to win a championship. The Knicks will already have enough trouble getting their stars enough touches. If KAT starts chucking up dirty muffins from 3 again in playoffs, it will sink them. I think they were better off with a grinder like Hartenstein.
