As a Raptors fan, I’m glad he didn’t re-sign. He’s as good as any player in the league when healthy. But it seems like he can play an adequate amount of games in one out of every three seasons. I won’t be surprised if he retires after this contract is up.

Clippers front office did the dumbest thing by signing him until the end of the 2026-2027 season, for over $50M per year.
Kawhi is a biiiiitch. He’s not even showing up to team functions or anything, just “rehabbing on his own” like he did in San Antonio and forced himself off the team.
I have never understood the love for Kawhi. He’s a selfish fucker, lol. Doesn’t care about playing, winning, camaraderie, fans, just living close to home and as much money as possible.
That’s all well and good, and I don’t blame him (I’d do the same thing), but the circlejerking about how great and humble he is just blows my mind.

I think that he loves the game, but hates the business. He does not give a shit about his franchise or teammates. He’s probably on the spectrum.
