I know itās not intelligent defense but cmon. This is exactly what is wrong with modern stoppages. In the replay you could literally hear almost every punch hitting Nelsonās gloves. He was never out of it and just stood up like nothing happened. The guy on top knows that if he pounds away repeatedly it will get stopped, even if barely anything lands.

Yeah I think he blocked it with the arm but picked his other leg up for some reason, so he was on one leg when the kick hit his arm. He fell over. Then took maybe 3 out of 18 punches.
He essentially took almost no damage but he lost half his pay and only had like 15 seconds to do anything about it. Pretty shitty on Herbās part if you ask me.

It wasnāt an actual knockdown though. More of a slip. Kick hit the forearms and he lost balance.
