Official UFC Fight Night: Adesanya vs. Pyfer Thread

Izzy vs that kickboxer that had the great performance earlier tonight.

Pyfer said that? That’s unfortunate .. he needs to get that checked out

I’m watching like 4 events at once right now :joy::joy:

Yeah he looked like dog shit tonight

He did so he wanted to ā€œgive backā€ to the next generation of fighters

Izzy could have easily won that fight but it’s like Michael chandler took over his brain

Well that was easily the strangest decision making I’ve seen from Adesanya.

Even more pathetic

His speech was all over the place, hopefully he figures that mental shit out. Saying you were going to off yourself a few weeks is pretty serious shit. Get that dude some help UFC.

You say that but he just stood in front of a power puncher and took all his shots. He didn’t lose because of his chin, he lost because he gave away his hips.

If anyone was hurt in that fight it was Pyfer. Weird performance and subsequent sequence on the ground. If Izzy keeps fighting he isn’t gonna look any better next time out.

5 losses in his last 6 fights. KO’d 3 times.

Izzy has nothing left to prove. Give him Niko Price for his next fight, and let him go out on a high note.

Same lol But yeah, he did. Weird.

I don’t know why Izzy doesn’t stay southpaw most of the time. Looks much more dangerous and accurate.

I wouldn’t use the word ā€œpatheticā€ but it’s sad. He quit in there. If he had retired it would have been easier to understand. He was looking good in there so all of that was weird.

Yeah there’s no reason for Izzy to keep fighting .. it’s brutal watching fighters fight until
Their brain is mush

Im also left questioning Josh’s fight iq. How the fuck do you not train for leg kicks when the blueprint for Izzy has been laid out? He did absolutely nothing to address that. He needs to thank the mma gods the fight went the way did bc if it’d been left standing, Izzy couldve finished the fight with any manner of stand up.

Yeah I don’t think I’ll watch his next fight, I don’t wanna see it.

He lost because he quit and he quit because he hasn’t improved on the ground in 10 years. I’m really not sure why he’s still fighting if he refuses to improve his game.

He reminds me of Rashad Evans, we knew he has it but can’t pull the trigger anymore
