I don’t know why Izzy doesn’t stay southpaw most of the time. Looks much more dangerous and accurate.

His best punches are from orthodox and his best kicks are from southpaw.

Add his punches and kicks aren’t nearly as effective as they once were, he gets hit coming out of every exchange and they are big punches. Nothing more for Izzy at this point.

He lost because he quit and he quit because he hasn’t improved on the ground in 10 years. I’m really not sure why he’s still fighting if he refuses to improve his game.

I don’t think he quit because his ground game hasn’t improved. He knows what to do in that position. That’s white belt shit. He quit because he didn’t wanna take any more punishment.

I really think Izzy went out of his way to stand in front of Joe. Not sure why he did it but he made the choice and he always has a reason for the things he does.

He hurt Joe after hurting him to the leg.

I think Joe was on the precipice of quitting, I actually think Izzy made the right decision there. His defense is just too porus, if it weren’t for the body shot I think we are talking about an Izzy highlight reel 20 seconds later.

Respect to Izzy for taking that fight. Maybe a move up to 205 wouldn’t be a bad thing. Vs Jamal Hill or Whittaker. Get a winnable fight scheduled that he can retire on.

I think he’s still only cutting 10-12 pounds, I bet he could diet to 187-190 and water cut from there. Juice is probably not worth the squeeze at this point though.

Yeah I agree. All of these losses and he still hasn’t looked bad. Tonight his decline was way more obvious though. A little slower and didn’t have the same pop, and lost confidence. I’d like to see what he has to say about standing in front of Pyfer hands down
