Ron Waterman was just on John Poz’s podcast. He’s such a humble guy. Accomplished a lot in MMA & pro wrestling. Sometimes I don’t think he gets enough credit for being one of the great early cross-promotion athletes between the two sports. This is probably his biggest win here over Randleman in Pride. His win over Ricco Rodriguez was big too.
Totally agree! I was always so impressed with how his game evolved after hooking up with Mark DellaGrotte at Sityodtong. His boxing for MMA was awesome and his submission game kept getting better and better. I believe he is now coaching at a school in North Carolina now. Much respect for Marcus Davis!
