Those look like pretty decent sized wings.
I consider myself a wing connoisseur, and have been going for wings every/every other Wednesday with my buddies for 10 years.
Breaded wings are difficult to eat a substantial amount. Those wings he’s eating definitely have breading on them.
The most I’ve ever seen someone do is 4 plates of 10 breaded wings, and he was struggling afterwards. Personally, I’ve done 35. I ordered 40 and tapped out.
20 breaded wings is a nice dinner, and you’re still able to suck back a few pints afterwards.
That’s a commendable number of wings by Paddy imo. Just my two cents…

A little math equation.
4 wings is equal to about one chicken breast.
So if you had 44 wings, you just ate 11 chicken breasts.
That seems like an absurd challenge when you put it in those terms. Can’t think of any time I’d want to grill 11 chicken breasts and sit there and eat them all…

I just went with 4 because it’s in the middle. Technically 4.5 wings would be “in the middle”. And if you’re adding breading to said wings, I would imagine it’s closer to 3-4 wings equals one breast…

Those wings are not small, and they are breaded. I’ve never seen a fucking grocery store sell raw breaded wings

I air fry 20 from the grocery store on Wednesday when I don’t meet my buddies at a pub for wings.
Those are wings you could buy at a grocery store, but then you would have to bread them. Restaurants will par cook their wings in the oven about halfway cooked, and refrigerate them the night before wing night in massive batches.
45 breaded wings is commendable. Let’s call a spade a spade.

Years ago myself and a group were heading down to NCAA wrestling nationals and stopped at Hooter’s on the way down and they had a all you can eat option that evening. Now Hooter’s is decent sized wings (compared to BWW anyway) and breaded to boot, well it wasn’t like we were competing but my father ate like 21 and that was more than all of us and was crowning himself champ.
Next day we were back at Hooter’s (we ate there every day) another guy eats 24 and is bragging all night about how he ate that many, next day I’m like fuck it I’m gonna take home the belt, and ate 27 to finish out the weekend.
Fast forward the next year we go back and meet up at Hooter’s and we pretty much think 27 wings is hard to beat and we are not even gonna try. A buddy of mine meets us and we have 50-platters just laid out between our tables and we are just drinking beers and eating casually as my buddy just shows up and throws down 45 wings, and it was pretty damn impressive imo and put an end to our childish dreams of overindulgence lol.

2 wings are only 2/3 of a wing when they are cut apart. When you cut a wing apart for buffalo wings the full wing is 3 pieces and only two are kept. Hell it would take like 6 or 7 fully uncut wings to match one full breast. A breast is zero bone and wings are mostly bone.
