There was a UFC in China this morning (US time)
Pavlovich reminded the world why he is still a huge threat.
Sure, the HW has been really weak and stale of late, but with the addition of Hokit and Pereira, and Pavlovich everyone forgot somehow, and the mainstay Aspinal, Gayne and Blaydes, it’s getting exciting again.
Yep, Pavlovich is still a huge threat. Anyone underestimating him is in for a bad time.
The HW division is slowly, but surely making a comeback. I’m hoping new blood like Steveson can shake things up, too.
They need to start cutting the blobs and actually go prospecting for new, young talent to bring in.
Yeah Stevenson will shake things up for sure. As for the “blobs”, they’ll be highlight reel material, sadly how the sport works ha ha.
If I were in charge, the UFC would have a MUCH greater presence in Indianapolis for NFL Combine week, with an emphasis on private workouts and tryout invites sent out at the end of the week to anyone that didn’t get drafted. That’s just where I’d start.

Cutting higher quality fighters and keeping the ones who are lesser but put on better fights.
It’s a double edged sword. We all wanna see exciting fights but I personally don’t wanna see two fat blobs crashing into each other like two beach balls. I like the excitement but I also wanna feel like I’m watching the premier organization of the world.

Unfortunately the UFC isn’t interested in recruiting talented fighters, they dont even do much scouting. Contender Series is the best they have. There are fighters in LFA, One and other organizations that are better than UFC fighters. The UFC just wants to fill their roster.
Such a missed opportunity. All those big dudes with freak athleticism and nothing to do with it after missing out on the NFL. Should be prime fuckin’ pickins’!

I hate heavyweight fights nowadays
Even if I got to see just one heavyweight fight per month, but it was a very good fight, I’d go with that.
These fat dudes are going out there are knocking each other out by falling over their own feet and slinging their arms out wildly.
