Evloev’s grappling is great to watch. He isnt a finisher, as many have pointed out, but I dont find his fights boring

I see it the other way. They’re hoping and praying Pico knocks Evloev off. Otherwise they have to give Evloev a title shot and he probably becomes champion, which would be bad for business. Pico is their best chance to avoid that stylistically.
If Pico wins he probably gets a title shot at 1-0.

I guess we’ll find out but the eye test tells me Evloev is better by a good bit. That said I would not be shocked if Pico clips him.
