9-0 in the UFC vs 0-0 in their debut is a brutally tall task on paper
Credit to both for taking that fight though and for opposite reasons
Evloev for having to take the slow route and Pico for jumping in the deep end
I’m guessing evloev wins easily
he has had 17 fights against mostly UFC caliber fighters,.Unless he gets subbed I think he will win But good fight
I mean , you could post it on 2 threads already pending ?
What a terrible introductory fight to be given. Definitely lends credibility to the UFC sabotaging stars from other promotions narrative. It will be very exciting to watch Pico get laid on for 15 minutes.
Couldn’t agree more. They clearly have zero interest in promoting Pico. I mean he could win and ruin their plans but it’s not likely.
Pico aint getting laid on if anything he will be one on top
u are under estimating Pico Hes a top caliber fighter
I disagree.
Throw Pico in there with a top 5 guy who is a legitimate title contender. Very tough fight, but Evloev is the guy who has more to lose.
If Pico wins, he immediately becomes a major player in the division overnight. Not the end of the world if he loses.
Between the two fighters, this is a high risk, low reward fight for Evloev and a low risk, high reward fight for Pico.
I see Elvoev winning, but it probably won’t be an exciting fight.
Cry about it.
Rather just Close Topic /
Cool. I searched and I saw that old thread where the fight was scrapped. I thought it deserved a new thread.
OK Cool . Problem becomes when theres 3 or 4 threads on same event .
No body out wrestling Pico in the division
Pico could smoke him or get destroyed
I’m rooting for Pico I’ve been to 3 of his fights and he won all 3 by exciting KO/TKO where as again another opposite element in this match all 9 of Evloev’s wins have been by Decision.
But even with his skills going into a new environment for his debut after over a year out to fight immediately against the guy who should be fighting for the Title is almost facing a stacked deck… almost. Hope he does well cause he is fun to watch but that is really tough on paper.
