Funny, I was just looking for the thread on the old OG. I think it went to heaven?

In any event, just got done doing some much needed maintenance on my bike. New rear tire and brake pads.

Yup, those rears were down to nothing. The tire (super corsa) had hit the wear bar but realistically, in dry weather, that means you could get another 500 miles before cords appear. Lulz. I figured I might as well do it all at once.

And in the interest of keeping this thread going…

I’m considering switching things up again. Been riding that speed triple rs for 2.5 years. It’s a very good bike but I’d like to try something else.

I want to keep to something light and athletic, but Supersport are out for me. More wind protection, even slightly would be nice, but I’m not down with sports tourers or advs. Too heavy.

So, in the category it’s pretty much the tuono or s1000r. Both can provide a bit more wind shield as well as even more power and sharp handling.

What to do…

Hey! This was my thread on the old OG!
I’m in process of getting some Baddad fenders. My front one is already installed, but my rear fender is ordered. Should arrive in 4-6 weeks already painted to match my bike.

Anyone ever remove and replace a rear fender on
an ‘05 FLSTC?? Any advice?? When the new rear fender arrives I’m taking the saddlebags off and rolling without them.

The yellow one has nitros on both sides of the rear arm. The horn button activated the injection. Had to add a turn buckle on the front forks for support and used a GXR front end. Fun unit.

I haven’t ridden a bike in years - had a few, mostly ricers, but quit riding after a week where I almost got murdilated 3 times by idiot drivers on their phones. I miss riding, but when my safety got taken outta my hands so obviously, I just gave up.

You can still have fun off road, or even on road if you stick to back roads and avoid freeways.

Rode across Alligator Alley in South Florida this AM. It was beautiful out. Not too hot, and although there was rain all around us in the distance, we didn’t catch a drop. Kept it at about 70 mph the whole way. It was great getting in the saddle for a few hours. Looking forward to cooler weather to come.
