How does that even make sense. A ton of heavyweights would run both of those guys over in the same night. Neither has showed anything remotely stellar and Travis Browne would probably beat both.

Hell I’d love to see Gable/Sylvia .. I’d love to see how Steveson could handle Tim on the mat .. we all know Sylvia would kill him on the feet

Fact of teh matter is young Tim was a big 6’8 guy with long reach who was aggressive in his early career & training at Millitage he trained with wrestlers.
Not claiming he would win teh belt against the top guys now, but I could sure as shit see him KO’ing a bunch of today’s top ten!
I could see Tim beating Volkov in teh later rounds, not too dissimilar than him vs Dan Mcgee!
Prime Tim was also a short time period too imo. The Tim that beat Cabbage, and Ricco was pretty good and could do well against all but maybe 7 fighters now. He had a limited game put he fought to his potential
And during his prime he fought the same opponents .. it’s too bad we didn’t see him vs prime Stipe, Jones or Carwin .. I wouldn’t put Cain in the “almost unbeatable” group solely due to his shaky chin .

I’ve had those same thoughts about Cain’s chin too but I think he falls into the same category as Arlovski and even Overeem. Go back and watch how Cain wades into danger with zero respect for his opponent, head up, chin out. Even against Francis.

The best version of Cain would get the shit kicked out of him by current Hokit or Gane. I believe that 100 percent. Best Cain got the cream cheese kicked out of him by Fabricio Werdum and Francis. Beating Brock Lesnar and Junior Dos Santos doesn’t mean he beats the top 5 currently. Cain at his best was 6’0 tall with tits and a gut.

Prime Cain? In terms of overall resume I’d put him behind Fedor and Big Nog but skill wise I’d put him equal with Fedor or right behind him. Only thing is he didn’t have the slick subs that Fedor did
