Thereās a guy named Don Shipley who is retired, and spends a great deal of his free time exposing fake Navy SEALs. Don Shipley can recognize fake Navy SEALs almost instantly, because Don Shipley was a real Navy SEAL.
I have never been a UFC fighter, but I have spent a lot of time in gyms/schools training with UFC fighters. I have also experienced altercations in a less controlled non-padded environment when I worked in private security. I have seen people get hurt and go to the hospital. I have sent people to the hospital with injuries. And I have gone to the hospital with injuries myself.
It is quickly and extremely obvious to me when Iām interacting with someone who wants to sound tough, so they spout idiotic opinions about fighting. If youāre one of those people, know this: No trained fighter respects you any more than Don Shipley respects guys who try to sound tough by pretending they were SEALs.
