An arrest warrant has been issued for UFC bantamweight veteran Bryan Caraway.
The 40 year-old âKid Lightning,â who made a name for himself on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), made the Insurance Commissionerâs âMost Wantedâ list in Washington State â for the second time â after failing to appear for his pre-trial hearing in Benton County Superior Court.
âCaraway failed to appear for Pre-Trial Conference after being charged with Forgery RCW 9A.60.020(1) (a) & (b), False Statement on Vehicle Application Certificate of Title RCW 46.12.750 (1) (a), False Claims or Proof in excess of $1500 RCW 48.30.230, and Attempted Theft 1 RCW 9A.56.030 (1) (a) and RCW 9A.28.020,â according to the official release.
Caraway (22-9), once ranked in the Top 5 at 135 pounds, is accused of forging the title to an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) belonging to ex-girlfriend and former UFC champ Miesha Tate, buying an insurance policy to cover said vehicle (and its related equipment), then reporting it stolen.
Tate, cooperating with investigators from the onset, was able to provide surveillance video of Caraway, along with incriminating text messages. âCupcakeâ also claimed Caraway threatened to âstrangleâ her and steal back the ATV.
Carawayâs brother, Thomas, has also been charged with insurance fraud in an unrelated case.

He is being accused of insurance fraud after he reported the theft of an all-terrain vehicle from his home back in December of 2018. The WICO (Washington State Commissionerâs Office) report that after he bought the insurance policy on the vehicle, he filed a claim that it was stolen just six days later.
âHe told GEICO that he bought the vehicle and contents, including helmets, a battery charger and spare tire, for $18,500 and provided a title showing his ex-girlfriend gifted it to him in January 2018,â says the WICO.
