Remember Cupcakes Caraway?

An arrest warrant has been issued for UFC bantamweight veteran Bryan Caraway.

The 40 year-old “Kid Lightning,” who made a name for himself on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), made the Insurance Commissioner’s “Most Wanted” list in Washington State — for the second time — after failing to appear for his pre-trial hearing in Benton County Superior Court.

“Caraway failed to appear for Pre-Trial Conference after being charged with Forgery RCW 9A.60.020(1) (a) & (b), False Statement on Vehicle Application Certificate of Title RCW 46.12.750 (1) (a), False Claims or Proof in excess of $1500 RCW 48.30.230, and Attempted Theft 1 RCW 9A.56.030 (1) (a) and RCW 9A.28.020,” according to the official release.

Caraway (22-9), once ranked in the Top 5 at 135 pounds, is accused of forging the title to an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) belonging to ex-girlfriend and former UFC champ Miesha Tate, buying an insurance policy to cover said vehicle (and its related equipment), then reporting it stolen.

Tate, cooperating with investigators from the onset, was able to provide surveillance video of Caraway, along with incriminating text messages. “Cupcake” also claimed Caraway threatened to “strangle” her and steal back the ATV.

Caraway’s brother, Thomas, has also been charged with insurance fraud in an unrelated case.

An arrest warrant has been issued in Washington State for former UFC fighter Bryan Caraway for several felony charges. Caraway was scheduled to attend a pre-trial hearing on October 3 but did now attend court.

He is being accused of insurance fraud after he reported the theft of an all-terrain vehicle from his home back in December of 2018. The WICO (Washington State Commissioner’s Office) report that after he bought the insurance policy on the vehicle, he filed a claim that it was stolen just six days later.

“He told GEICO that he bought the vehicle and contents, including helmets, a battery charger and spare tire, for $18,500 and provided a title showing his ex-girlfriend gifted it to him in January 2018,” says the WICO.

So Meisha is single?

I wanted to make a joke saying he should have called up Chael to find out how to do insurance fraud, but then I remembered Chael actually was guilty of real estate fraud.

I always liked Caraway. He got a lot of hate because guys were jealous he had Meisha, and they didn’t.

What is it with MMA fighters getting in trouble over ATV’s and farm equipment? Didn’t Matt Hughes sue his brother over a stolen tractor?

She made him steal her ATV?

Then she made him forge her signature on a fake title transfer?

Then she made him get a geico policy, hide the ATV, and report it stolen 1 week later?

Wow, she made him do a lot of really stupid stuff.

In my experience, females in MMA circles make great relationship choices and I’m totally shocked by this.

Sometimes you break up with a girl and you lose the expensive shit you gave her.

That doesn’t mean you steal it back…
Or forge legal documents…
Or commit insurance fraud.

Even if she’s a bitch, he can’t blame anyone but himself for doing this stupid shit.

By the way, Hi Bryan.
