Retired kickboxer vs a disabled young man

This is from the Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS), a Romanian kickboxing tournament founded by the bigger guy you see in the ring there, Catalin Morosanu. His opponent is Dragos Zdrolidis, who was born premature at 5 months and 3 weeks. Doctors said he would never walk or speak, and Dragos struggled significantly in his life due to his condition. He was only able to walk by the age of 14, but he had big dreams for getting into sports, especially when he discovered kickboxing and met his coach Dan Capatana.

His journey was documented by his mother on social media, where he was eventually able to do proper low kicks and do full on pushups and pull-ups. Eventually the manager for DFS, Alin Huiu, found the page and gave the kid a chance, sending him an official DFS training suit. The fight was organized into what we see here, with the founder Catalin allowing Dragos to live his dream.

Holy SHIT!

Sweet moment here.

Catalin was always a fun watch.

He was a staple of SuperKombat which was really an incredible show RIP.

He pulled a Diego Sanchez and Nate Quarry.

Hespect.

kid landed a few hard ones on him

He would definitely be the best pro fighter on the board if he signed up.

Yeah, he actually looked like he had a little pop on his punches.

a great punchline would be the kid was the pro and the man who “lost” was the disabled bro
