Revisiting Fedor vs Cormier fantasy match up

I remember on the old UG people were coining Cormier as the black Fedor. Also a lot felt he would’ve beaten Fedor if they ever fought prime vs prime.

Now both retired, I can confidently say Fedor would’ve stopped Cormier after attacking Cormier to the body. We saw in several fights Cormier doesn’t take body shots well and tends to fade from it.

Fedor would’ve given him that combo he gave Gary G to the body in Pride.

Fedor was faster, more explosive and had better stand up. Cormier wouldn’t grind out a Dec against a prime Fedor. I can’t think of any method of victory for Cormier.
