Do you really think MVP has the capacity to turn into like a league that can actually compete with the UFC?
Think the Paul’s and whoever is backing them? that’s their goal?

No it does not.
But 2-4 top events a year is possible.
Who the fuck is Philipe Lins?
No one knows
Netflix won’t be the new UFC, but they could be the OLD UFC. Less events with better cards that actually have hype instead of the current UFCs trough of Dana White Contender Series filler.
Less events and more hype? Sure.
But better cards? This one is a washed-up hack fest. None of the fighters are even remotely interesting in 2026. Gina hasn’t fought in like a decade.
Best part is you don’t have to watch it if you don’t want to.
In the not too distant future, I’d like to see:
Cyborg vs. Amanda Nunes
Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brock Lesnar - freestyle wrestling rules
Jon Jones vs. Israel Adesanya
Georges St-Pierre vs. Anderson Silva - BJJ
I don’t want Nate and Mike.
But they do so I guess.
I hope carano beats the piss out of rhonda
Ex UFC light heavyweight
This washed up hack fest is going to beat Paramounts first two UFC views.
I’ll be sad to watch Nate throwing up his arms, turning his back, etc, then ultimately getting starched by Mike fucking Perry.
Of course they will, it’s on Netflix. They push a bunch of terrible shit like Love is Blind that their viewers eat up.
I’m happy to watch it. While it seems like most of you have some issue with fighters actually fighting and it’s strange. Sure Nate and Mike are older but why does that matter? You all acting like they shouldn’t even be fighting for any reason you can come up with.
Why not cheer these guys on for making good money and doing what they love?
I never would have believed UFC would spam fights and oversaturate with mediocrity like they do now back in 2007 or so
I’ll watch it too, but it won’t be good. It will be mediocre at best like the rest of Netflix’s fights.
We just shouldn’t act like this is a serious competition. It’s a hype exhibition for former fighters.
Exactly this, except I hope that it is good.
Good way to put it
Diaz vs Perry is honestly a decent matchup .. I look forward to that more than I am Ronda/carano.. the carano fight is going to sloppy as hell or over very quickly
