Chances are you’re right. However, Ronda isn’t great when getting hit, and I imagine Gina will be trying to hit her quite a lot. If she can land hard in the first two minutes she might be in with a chance. She’s seen Ronda stopped with strikes, and I think she’s working with John Wood - he’ll do the homework even if Gina doesn’t.
I wonder whether length of time training might favour Gina as well. My experience of going back to training was that my striking conditioning built back much, much quicker than my wrestling did (though I started out as a striker, so maybe that’s why). I also don’t know how long Ronda has been truly inactive for, given the WWE job she had.

Despite revealing a concerning medical history and alleged brain damage from her career, Rousey seems intent on making a statement in her fighting comeback. She’s looking to earn her first MMA win since knocking out Bethe Correia at UFC 190.
