Stitch is a good man taking the heat from Nate. The reality is, Nate quit on the stool. You could see from his body language, and him whispering to Sitch that he quit. Stitch even said to the commission before it was officially called “he’s not coming back out”. It wasn’t Stitch that made that call like they’re implying. Nate quit, and they’re doing their best to save face for him.
Stitch didn’t hold back…lol
Whether he is trying to protect diaz now or not, in the interview, stitch did say he decided it had to be stopped, not nate. Maybe that’s him reading nates body language and factoring it in to that decision, but either way, I don’t think nate quit or has anything to apologize for. He obviously couldn’t see for a lot of that fight anyway.
