The Talmud is an amalgamation of hundreds of years of rabbis debating each other.
Most of these quotes are out of context, mistranslated, etc, or taken from what is essentially an unfinished debate.
Can you say which one’s are not mistranslated or out of context?

With more time sure, but a quick one would be the quote about all Goyims are animals. This was about not marrying gentiles because their patrilineage cant be traced. This is a section about marrying, patrilineage, etc.
For the record, I am not jewish. I was raised Bahai and am non-practicing.

Thanks yes that was the one I suspected of being true because there is a quote attributed to a famous Rabbi that died who made similar comments about Gentles. If I find the quote I will paste it on the thread.

There was a huge pilgrimage to Hawaii many many years ago so the Bahai faith has a very large community there, where I was born and raised.
The core beliefs of the Bahá’í faith include the unity of God, the unity of all religions, and the unity of humanity. Bahá’ís believe in the oneness of all people, the equality of men and women, the harmony of science and religion, and work toward world peace and justice under a global society.
Basically, there is only 1 god and all the religions gave him their own name.

Here it is but I cannot confirm 100% that the quote is true however.
What is supposed to be true is that Rabbi Yosef had the largest attended funeral in the history of Israel when he died in 2013. So he wasn’t some small fringe extremist which makes his comments even more disturbing it if turns out that he did in fact say those things.

He did, in fact, say that.
But was widely condemned by many jewish organizations emphasizing that it did not represent core values of Judaism.
He was the Chief Rabbi but very very traditionally Sephardic. He also said it while speaking on a more mystical context during a very theological sermon while simultaneously promoting peace with Palestine.

I think all organized religion is garbage but you’re misrepresenting what I said. It has nothing to do with judging the validity of a religion. Simply bridging the gap of my god vs your god.

While I do not personally believe that the statistical majority of the world’s 15 million Jews believe that Gentles are animals, it is quite disturbing to see some proclaim this belief so publicly.

This is the canned response- “out of context” or “mistranslated” but as is usually the case with these sewer dwelling baby-stroller & stained-mattress enthusiasts, it’s not arguing the content of the foul doctrines nor how patently obvious it is that these precepts are indeed what they practice… no, it’s quibbling over a specific word or rhetoric. It’s the essence of pilpul
and why they love litigation… has nothing to do with justice or truth.
They will tell you from their own mouths what they think about you
Stop getting wrapped up in what they say. Pay attention to what they do.

There are other rabbi’s in there directly opposing what some other rabbi said.
Also, As I’ve read from modern rabbi’s, its not to be lived by. The talmud has a bunch teaching when someone asks a question of these people. So its a answer/interpetation based on the torah
, but it doesnt mean someone should do something IRL
the way i understand it, its just someone decided to write down what a bunch of old rabbi’s said. doesnt make it law any more than than a preacher giving his views every sunday

I couldn’t care less about the fucking Middle East.
But in my own country where I live my life there is one group constantly being a menace and causing fucking problems everywhere and it sure as shit isn’t the Jews.

The people causing problems in your country are more than what you can perceive with your paltry eyes and ears.
Just think about this for a second: if the ones you think are a problem are going to keep coming no matter what you do on the ground & an individual basis… does it make sense to keep focusing on what is right in front of you like whackamole or should you perhaps take a look at who is funding & organizing their transport, changing the legislation and influencing the “elected” (or otherwise) politicias & officials i your country that allows for these godawful conditions?
A whole lot of dumbshits want to just swat at branches endlessly, because it gives them something to bitch about. Some of us would prefer to dig up poisonous roots, so our children don’t have to inherit a foul Earth.
