Doing something you love and “only” making $600k. That’s rough, man.
"You’ve literally got guys making more for an eight-round fight against a guy that I would beat than Sean O’Malley made fighting at the White House.
Those guys need to stop being suppressed. I’m just shocked by the mindset of, ‘Oh well, there’s nothing else we can do, really. It is what it is.’
There’s a guy fighting on the undercard in the fourth fight who’s making more than you."
If he’s talking about Moses Itauma and other HW prospects, then yeah $600k may be low.
But for the average FW boxer with 5-7 bouts is only gonna make $5k to $10k at most.
plus thats 2-3x per year!
What’s his GFM?
Im starting to get the impression that fighters are not really good with numbers, risk managment, or delayed gratification.
Curmel Moton, one of the biggest name LW prospects in the sport got $25k for his 8th fight.
Sean and Aspinall are both signed up with Eddie Hearn now
Very curious on how this plays out.
They both will want to fight but Eddie may tell them not to until the UFC pays them more money, which we know Dana won’t budge on
