“Comic books” are typically 22 pages (Marvel used to number them up to 31, but that included all the pages of ads).
Graphic novels are anywhere from 100 - 1600 pages. Much, much bigger, and usually a complete storyline. “The Dark Knight Returns” mentioned above was about 200 pages.

Problem is that the three you cite as overrated were what led to the following ones even existing. TDKR changed everything for Batman, mostly for the better.
But your point is at least half true IMO - we can say Royce Gracie should be on the UFC’s Mount Rushmore, yeah, but that doesn’t mean he can hang with the current top 50 at his weight class. But they wouldn’t even be there without Royce having started the sport and its popularity, so credit where credit is due. And some of the newer Batman stuff is of course amazing.
Personally I love TDKR and KJ, but Year One was meh to me 
I never got the hype for it.

I’ve seen two recent interviews with Julie Bowen, and I absolutely think she’s an addict. She seemed so well put together in Modern Family, commercials, etc. but seeing her doing an interview is legit crackhead energy.
Overly animated, overly energetic, rambling all over the place.
She still looks dang good, though.
