Camp Maple Lake perhaps with either Russ Houk or Gene Mills and Screwy Louis? Out of Williamsport, then up past Forksville, turn right at Estella? Been there, done that many times.Was it Sergei? Used to take my boys there every year. I got to roll with Sergei there a few times. I threw away my own candy bar. Pavilion was the tip off, LOL. Beautiful place for a camp but one year in August, there was frost on the mats!

Used to do a week there, then 10 day intensive at Lock Haven every year. I often said I would love to have bought that property but the road up there was nasty. The lake had good fishing too, lots of pickerel and smallies. I got sideswiped one trip,about a mile or two from camp by a kid from Maryland driving his Dad’s pickup. He was on his way up and I couldn’t get away from him. It was a brand new van I was driving. Credit though, his Dad was some big politician in Baltimore and paid to fix everything plus bonus dollars not to do insurance. When he hit me, I called the state cops and I took them almost an hour to get there. This was the early 90’s.
