Meh… I would simply say that ‘agnostic’ (or not) as a category description for something that de facto can’t be ‘known’ in the way we expect to know is an inappropriate frame to try to shoe horn it into in the first place…
Much like the whole ‘the atheist countries are happier’ thing being meaningless, so is taking on the label of ‘agnostic’… so what… I ‘admit’ I don’t know something that can not be known anyway… it’s meaningless. jimmy is into bearing down on meaningless stuff these days…

Well, before I pulled up the ‘official state religions’ list, I had just assumed that all the Scandinavian countries (many of which top the Happiness List) were ‘atheist’ (in deference to jimmy’s insistence that that means not having a state religion)… but was wrong, as a couple of them do.
What was interesting is that a number of those same countries have high depressions rates (which, strangely, was not factored into the UN’s definition of ‘happiness’)… and what is more interesting though, is that those were the Scandinavian countries that were atheist… wonder what the list of religious v atheist countries based on depression rate would look like…
9 of the top 10 are atheist … only Greece is state religion…
Which again, leads to the ‘jimmy logic’ query: Why are atheist countries so depressed?..
Official state religion means nothing
All of those countries have a large religious following, all of which are majority Christian which isn’t surprising at all

Try Buddhism if you must have a sky daddy, less attachment and less belief that your dumbass has any special relationship with god anymore than the stray dog down the street does

This has been my experience as well. They simply can’t handle that I don’t believe in god and will do all sorts of mental gymnastics to try to prove I believe in not believing. Cool. I still don’t believe your Bronze Age fairy tale
