Remember watching Tyson vs Holyfield at about 6am, stayed up all night round my mates. Was also, Nigel Benn’s last fight on the UK card of what was called Judgement Night over here. Tyson/Holyfield was an Instant classic. Everyman and his dog thought Holyfield was fucked and could even get seriously hurt. Then Evander came out singing his bible songs and stood his ground. By the time he dropped Mike in the 6th we knew we were witnessing history.
What classic that was. Hot damn!

Amazing pic of Ken Shamrock & Funaki training with the Machado’s! I’ve heard the stories about their training sessions there to learn how jiu-jitsu worked, but never seen any photos from those days. There are some awesome photos on this thread, but I believe this one takes the cake for me. Do you mind me asking where you found it? Was it online or is this something that you have in your collection? The MMA Museum Facebook page has a lot of old/rare photos on their site. Well done with this one @Bill_C !
