Short clip with dozens of cuts. Can’t really make any kind of judgement based on that clip. I’ll watch the full uncut interview. That clip could just be a shortened version of the whole story or it could be cut up from pieces of totally unrelated things and made to look like it’s one story. He could have been saying something about Iranians at one point and then an hour later saying something else about Taliban and the video editor just cut them in together…
If you’re going to accuse someone of being a liar it doesn’t help your case to use heavily edited out of context video clips

Tim Kennedy is a piece of crap but a lot of the people I’ve talked to that have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan talk about how a lot of the people that they were fighting were Iranians.
Remember when Trump butt fucked Qasem Sulamani with a hellfire? That dude was the head of covert operations in Iran and he was schwacked specifically because of the stuff that he was organizing and starting in Iraq.
So lying about valor and just about everything is OK now? What kind of logic is that for a man to live by?

If true he should and would be charged with war crimes. We dont do that shit. I know Call of Duty and paintball larpers think it’s a normal thing but it would get you killed or in jail. Nobody is letting you off kids and moms like that. We have flash bangs for a reason.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I don’t buy that Tim is guilty of stolen valor. I’m not buying what these guys are selling. There’s always salty people in every community. These guys come off as that, while trying to capitalize on other salty dudes

It’s not true that’s why. Were there Iranians, sure. But they came from everywhere and were largely old republican guard and Bathists elites in Iraq. I know a fuck ton more vets, and legit ones at that. I’ve never even heard them in any way talk they were fighting mostly or even a huge number of Iranians in Afghanistan. This is just my experience and the wars changed over time.

I haven’t delved that deep into it. Rolled with guy several times and he was anyways cool, so I admit I’m coming from a biased perspective. He is certainly different than the persons he portrays when the cameras are on.
