One of the best friends I’ve ever had was a compulsive liar.
Extremely charismatic and charming. But saw people he wasn’t close with as a mark to get something out of them.
Everything he said was a story very loosely based in reality with some truth mixed in. Was a great guy otherwise and a good friend that would always have your back.
But at the end of the day it ruined the friendship because every time he said anything I would question it knowing he’s a liar.
Tim Kennedy is like that. He may be a good dude to those around him irl, but for “the audience” he is a compulsive liar, tall tale teller and to military veterans guilty of stolen valor – lying about war and lying about medals, things they had friends die for.
The worst was Tim bragging about being too tough to have PTSD while other vets listen to that and say you fucking piece of shit I had several friends kill themselves because of the shit they saw and did and you belittle them with that comment.

Like I said, I haven’t researched nor have spent anytime on this, other than this thread. Not on the top of my priority list. My position is he did some shit. If he’s fabricating or exaggerating, oh well, that sucks. But it’s not going to ruin my day, nor am I going to try and profit from it via views on YouTube.

Yeah. It’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. But he shouldn’t be making money off all his bull shit either nor be allowed to be a recruitment mouthpiece anymore. The army is going to cover up a lot of his BS. Both of his apology videos are making it worse. Which is great. Tim needs to just go away and not be public anymore. His truth self is finally outed.

He word played that shit to no end. To a civilian it might read as a medal of valor, but its a fucking service ribbon more or less. A medal of valor to anyone who ever put on a uniform even in peace time that’s the medal of honor, navy cross type medals. He’s a gross dude.

Okay, friend.
The IRG was absolutely involved in the insurgency in Iraq and in Afghanistan. I don’t think they would be so dumb as to be running around wearing Iranian uniforms and waving Iranian flags in the same way that our Marines wore American uniforms and waved American flags.
What’s more is that a whole host of the insurgents themselves absolutely were trained and equipped by Iran. This is something that the grand asshole is proud of and has spoken about in fairly euphemistic terms at least once in the past.
I can see where people would say that Iran didn’t have anything to do with our war in Iraq nor our excursions in the Middle East because I don’t know that the average soldier would’ve been in contact with the people being specifically targeted and hunted by the US specifically because of those asshole’s involvement with the insurgency and terrorism in general.
