They lost me when they moved an entire PPV that fans had tickets for to another state so Picogram Jones could be on the card.
Whonda Wousey cud beated up Floyd Mayweather. Derrr

Brought to you by Prize Picks. The official UFC sponsor of Gambling Addictions!
Combination of ESPN and when the increased the PPV to 70 bucks.
I don’t mind commentators hamming it up. It’s the fake blood feuds for hype. Then after the fight they admit they were just selling tickets and are actually friends. Strickland’s last fight with Shimaev comes to mind.
When Dana bitched to Kirik about the fight gifs. Like bitch go fuck yourself
that and the reebok deal

or when they talk mad shit about killing each other then it’s basically a sparring session
For me it was a combination of adding women fighters and also substandard cards. I lost a lot of interest when I didn’t know who everybody was anymore.
I started watching the UFC when I got a vhs copy of UFC2 from Suncoast. From there i was hooked. I remember calling the UFC hotline for results instead of waiting for black belt magazine. I remember getting Directv specifically for the UFC. Ufc6 was my first and still favorite. I got every mna ppv whether it was battlecade, ufc, Pancrase, k1, shidokan, sabaki challenge, WVC, Contenders, etc. I had every issue of Fighting Sports Newsletter and Full Contact Fighter. At one point I had over 6000 events on tape. I remember when there were only 4 UFC events a year. I remember when there internet went public and you could learn about events like Hook N Shoot from mma forums. I remember thinking I would be a fan forever. I remember seeing Pat Miletich win his first UFC because he was a hero to every Midwest fighter. I remember the Coleman Era, the hype of Young Vitor, Tanks suspension, the Tito era, Chuck’s fight with Noe,Gumby almost beating Frank, etc
Then Zuffa oversaturated the market. I went to prison. I watched the UFC and bellator every week of Fuel and then Fox Sports. I got out on March 19th 2015. I watched the UFC in the halfway house. I would even do extra maintenance work to get to stay up later like painting walls or shampoo carpets. I got out and got cable to see Cruz and Garbrant. I saw Rhonda get kicked in the head. I violated my supervision and went back twice. I got ESPN to watch the UFC. But I wasn’t going to pay for ESPN and another 80 for every ppv. So id watch highlights on YouTube and catch the free replay in two weeks. Then they went to Paramount which I got just for theUFC. But I dont care anymore. Most of these cards are shit. They’re full of foreigners I could not care less about. I didn’t watch it last week. I watched a video of every finish on YouTube. Im not watching tonight’s card either.
I was excited for the last two Gaethe fights. Max and Connor. Maybe a couple more. Im now the guy that watches the really big cards now and dont give a shit about the rest of them. Id rather watch BKFC. The sport is no longer about who is the best. Its about who can score the most points in a decision. Not every fight is Hendo vs Shogun. Most of them look like Shamrock vs Gracie2. We used to tell these guys they just didn’t understand grappling. But i do understand grappling. I enjoy it. But it’s not exciting to watch. Its like watching Golf, bowling tennis and spelling bees. Those are interesting if that’s your sport, but if it’s not it’s just fucking boring. Mma these days is oversaturated and boring.
Oh I just remember the strong, strong insuation was that he had a drug problem. Coke almost certainly. Which probably explains why he was running around half-naked back stage LOL. Funny dude, coked up or not!!!
Haha thanks man. What an animal if that’s what he was doing. Travelling the world shirtless blasting Hollywood’s before he goes live.
Those were great UFC days.
The BMF belt. that is the gayest shit ever

This does annoy the shit out of me too and it does seem fake at times.
When realizing that running a forum made up of a bunch of gay Nazi faggots was not good for the sport.

Under the right circumstances..
Once
In
Ever!
