I got into it with someone at the old place and put up graphs of everything showing that polio was in steady decline before the vaccination had the chance to be deployed to the majority of the population that would have been necessary to show that decline. Whoever it was went radio silent after I explained that only a few million shots were administered the first few years while the cases were dropping off a cliff in that same time period. We as a species were becoming immune regardless.
A prominent Dr. in New Orleans who has a large hospital and numerous other health related businesses with his name was heavily invested in the original polio vaccine. The vaccine was derived from monkeys , I think from the liver but it may have been another organ.
He was warned that some of the monkeys used may have been tainted but he said full steam ahead. He had one grandchild who died from the vaxx and another contracted polio from it.
There is a great book on what Dr. Ochsner was up to as he was involved in CIA operations to kill Castro and he cross paths with the likes of Oswald, Ferrie, etc.
