Was a fan since the day he got mad at Diego Sanchez for cutting the tops of the asparagus in the TUF house.
RIP big guy
Always liked him. Tough, well-rounded, fun loving. Pioneer is a reach, but he is missed.
Once he and Baroni got together, it was over for them both.
Watched them both spiral out together on IG in real time. You could see it getting worse day by day.
Sad shit.
RIP
I was at Stephan’s first fight. Fought in a 4 man tourney and won.
Was pretty much at all of his fights before TUF other than Machida.
He was a dude with some issues. Quite a bit of “mandatory anger management” when he was younger.
He was the man. So fun to party with. He would do huge amounts of blow and just talk and joke for hrs on end. He had the best stories man. He told one about fighting in an underground mma event Russia stealing a hooker and a car crashing it running away. It was amazing. Could easily be a sick movie. He had dozens of stories like that.
Rip amigo.
^ ha well i didn’t know him that well, but he seemed a top guy, cheeky humour, genuine, tough as nails, very skilled. wtf, it’s a nightmare he went too soon rip
Damn
I was going to say the same. I assume anyone willing to fight in a cage for peanuts has a screw or two loose, but I always thought Stephan was one of the more “normal” fighters. His decline came as a huge shock to me
If that is the channel i think it is that guy makes great stuff.
Like sit and watch for hours good
Its probably not him
